Jenna Bush Hager co-hosts the fourth hour of NBC’s Today and founded Read With Jenna, the on-air book club she has run since 2019. Each month she names a single title, usually a debut or a novel from a writer without an established American readership, and the pick reliably moves a book onto the bestseller lists.
A former teacher, she chooses with a teacher’s instinct for what will start a conversation, and the club has a consistent character: contemporary fiction and memoir, frequently by women, frequently about families working out what they have agreed not to discuss.
