Lin-Manuel Miranda

Lin-Manuel Miranda is an American composer, lyricist, and performer who reshaped musical theater with In the Heights and the cultural phenomenon Hamilton, which won the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and a record haul of Tony Awards. He has also written songs for Disney’s Moana and Encanto. His books extend that work off the stage: a behind-the-scenes chronicle of Hamilton, an illustrated collection of his encouraging late-night tweets, and the story of In the Heights, all marked by the same generous, wordplay-loving voice.
