Co-Founder and CEO, 37signals
Jason Fried is an American entrepreneur who co-founded the software company 37signals, best known for the project-management tool Basecamp, in 1999. He built a reputation as a contrarian voice on how work should be done, arguing against long hours, endless meetings and hypergrowth in favour of calm, profitable, deliberately small companies. His books, written with his business partner David Heinemeier Hansson, turned that philosophy into short, blunt manifestos that shaped how a generation of startups thinks about work.
