Rework
A blunt anti-business book: forget plans, meetings and growth for its own sake, and just build something and ship it
Fried and David Heinemeier Hansson wrote a business book that argues against most business books. Drawn from running Basecamp, it dismisses long-range plans, meetings, outside funding and growth for its own sake, and insists that the way to build a good company is to start small, ship real work and stay profitable. Short, blunt and deliberately provocative, it became a manifesto for a leaner way of working.
