About This Series
Sunny Hostin's contemporary fiction series, each novel set in a historically Black summer community on the American coast: Oak Bluffs on Martha's Vineyard, then Sag Harbor, then Highland Beach. The books use those places deliberately, since each is a real enclave with a long history of Black wealth, leisure and inheritance, and the family secrets that drive the plots are rooted in that history.
