Portrait of Taylor Swift

Reading List

Taylor Swift

Singer-Songwriter

Taylor Swift is one of the most successful singer-songwriters of her generation, known for narrative songs that read like short stories. Literature runs through her work: her albums Folklore and Evermore borrow the moods of gothic novels, and she has often pointed to the books that shaped her imagination, from classic fiction to musicians’ memoirs. When Swift names a book, she does it as a working writer crediting the stories that taught her how to build a world in three verses and a bridge.
