Sunny Hostin

Asunción “Sunny” Hostin is an American lawyer, author and television host. A former federal prosecutor, she is Senior Legal Correspondent and Analyst for ABC News and a co-host of the network’s morning talk show The View, work that has brought her Daytime Emmy nominations. She also hosted and executive-produced the true-crime series Truth About Murder. Her writing splits along the same lines as her career: a memoir tracing her Bronx upbringing and her path through the law, and a series of novels set among Black summer communities on the American coast.
