Steven Pressfield

Steven Pressfield is an American novelist and non-fiction writer who spent decades failing to make a living from writing before The Legend of Bagger Vance was published when he was fifty-two. He is best known now for The War of Art, which names the internal force that stops people doing their work as Resistance and treats it as an enemy to be fought daily. Do the Work continues the argument. He has also written historical novels, among them Gates of Fire.
