Rollo Tomassi is the pen name of the writer behind The Rational Male, a blog begun in 2011 that became the most-cited source in what is now called the manosphere. He systematised a set of ideas about attraction and relationships drawn loosely from evolutionary psychology, and his vocabulary has spread far beyond readers who know its origin.
The work is widely criticised, including by people who accept parts of its diagnosis, and it is included here because it is the reference point for a large body of online writing that is hard to understand without reading its source.
