Robert Jordan

Robert Jordan was the pen name of James Oliver Rigney Jr., an American writer of epic fantasy best known for The Wheel of Time, a fourteen-volume series that has sold some 90 million copies. He wrote Conan the Barbarian novels earlier in his career and used different pen names for different genres. He died in 2007 with the series unfinished, and Brandon Sanderson completed it from his notes.
