Reza Aslan

Reza Aslan is an Iranian-American scholar of religion, writer and television host. Born in Tehran in 1972, his family left Iran after the 1979 revolution and settled in the United States, a double vantage point that runs through everything he writes. He is best known for Zealot, his bestselling historical account of Jesus of Nazareth, and for No god but God, a widely read history of Islam. Across his books he approaches faith as a human story, tracing how belief is shaped by the societies that carry it.
