Rainer Zitelmann

Rainer Zitelmann is a German historian, sociologist and author who has written more than twenty books. He writes in defence of market economics and about the psychology of wealth, in titles including In Defense of Capitalism: Debunking the Myths and The Origins of Poverty and Wealth, the latter drawn from a world tour reporting on how different countries actually became rich or stayed poor. He has also worked as a journalist, a management consultant and in real estate.
