Larry King

Larry King was an American broadcaster who conducted more than 50,000 interviews across radio and television, most famously as the suspenders-wearing host of CNN’s Larry King Live from 1985 to 2010. Known for a plain, curious, non-adversarial style that put guests at ease, he was a fixture of American media for decades. His books drew on that career: a practical guide to conversation, How to Talk to Anyone, Anytime, Anywhere; a candid memoir; and a collection of off-the-record stories from a lifetime of interviews.
