Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart is an American comedian, writer and television host who spent sixteen years anchoring The Daily Show, where his satirical take on politics and the news media reshaped how a generation followed current events. He hosted the show from 1999 to 2015 and returned to its helm in 2024. Alongside the desk he has written best-selling comic books that skewer American life, including the mock civics textbook America (The Book) and its planetary sequel Earth (The Book), both created with the show’s writing staff.
