John Cleese
Actor, Comedian & Screenwriter
John Cleese is an English actor, comedian and screenwriter. He co-founded Monty Python in the late 1960s and starred in Monty Python’s Flying Circus and the films Monty Python and the Holy Grail, Life of Brian and The Meaning of Life. With Connie Booth he co-wrote Fawlty Towers, playing the hotel owner Basil Fawlty, and he wrote and starred in A Fish Called Wanda, which earned him an Academy Award nomination. He has also written a memoir, So, Anyway.
