Daniel Ek is a Swedish entrepreneur and technologist, the founder and executive chairman of Spotify, the streaming service he launched in 2008 and grew into the dominant force in recorded music. He was building websites for clients before he had finished high school and was a millionaire by 22. Beyond music he is a wide-ranging reader, and his recommendations run from the history of the record business to socio-anthropology, football management, and the mental models of the investors he admires.
