Curtis Sittenfeld

Curtis Sittenfeld is an American novelist and short story writer whose debut, Prep, followed a scholarship student navigating a New England boarding school she never quite belongs in. She has since published seven novels, among them American Wife and Romantic Comedy, and two story collections. Sittenfeld writes social comedy with a very cold eye, particularly about class, ambition and the small humiliations people arrange for themselves.
