Bill Bryson

Bill Bryson is an American-British journalist and author who moved to Britain in his twenties and took citizenship in 2014, serving as chancellor of Durham University from 2005 to 2011. He writes non-fiction about travel, the English language and science, and his method is consistent across all three: go and look, ask the obvious question nobody asks, and report the answer with the joke left in.
