Rogen's first book: true, frequently absurd stories from a life spent getting high, getting famous, and embarrassing himself at both.
Not a conventional memoir so much as a pile of true stories, told in the loose, digressive voice of someone recounting them at a party. Rogen writes about a Jewish upbringing in Vancouver, doing stand-up in bars while still a teenager, the drugs, the bar mitzvahs he performed at, and the strange encounters that arrive with fame. Some pieces run barely a page and others sprawl. It is scattershot by design, and funniest when he is plainly the butt of the joke.
