Nightblind
A murdered policeman tests Ari Thór Arason in Ragnar Jónasson's Dark Iceland series, from Minotaur.
Ari Thór is a local policeman on uneasy terms with the villagers of Siglufjörður when one of his colleagues is shot dead at night in a deserted house. The inquiry leads him toward the new mayor and a psychiatric ward in Reykjavík. Quentin Bates translated the novel from Náttblinda, and it won the 2016 Dead Good Reader Award for Most Captivating Crime in Translation.
