Karate Chop
Dorthe Nors's short story collection in Martin Aitken's English translation, published by Graywolf Press in 2014.
Karate Chop is a short story collection by the Danish writer Dorthe Nors, translated by Martin Aitken. Selections appeared in English in 2009, according to Wikipedia, and Graywolf Press published this edition in 2014 at 89 pages. Nors likes both forms. A novel, she says, is like an opera with many scenes and characters, while a short story is more like a lied, one strong voice carried to the end.
