How the Pro-Choice Movement Saved America
An argument that the fight over abortion is really a fight over birth control and sex.
Cristina Page argues that the pro-choice movement has done far more than defend legal abortion. She credits it with the spread of birth control, sex education and family-friendly policy, and argues that many opponents of abortion also oppose contraception and sex education, the very things that reduce the need for abortion. The book is written for readers new to the subject.

I obviously wanted to pick a book that was about the work I do now, and I just think Cristina Page did a great job in this book. It’s a very accessible book and so I’d like to put it in for folks who think this may not be the topic that they know a whole lot about.
