Bright Dead Things
Poems from Limón's 2015 book on the chaos of life and the thrill of living in a world you must leave.
Bright Dead Things was published in 2015 and was a finalist for the National Book Award for Poetry. The poems examine the chaos that is life and the dangerous thrill of living in a world you know you will have to leave one day. They search for something disorderly, marvelous and ultimately ours. Milkweed Editions published the book seven years before Ada Limón became US Poet Laureate.
