Jerald F. Dirks

Jerald F. Dirks is an American author on comparative religion who holds a Master of Divinity from Harvard Divinity School and a doctorate in clinical psychology from the University of Denver. A former ordained deacon in the United Methodist Church, he writes on the shared ground and the real differences between Judaism, Christianity and Islam in books including The Cross and the Crescent and The Abrahamic Faiths. He has also published widely in clinical psychology and on Arabian horses.
