Cassandra in Reverse

Cassandra loses her job and her boyfriend in the same week, then discovers she can rewind time and try again. She is also autistic, and Smale, who is autistic herself, writes her interior life with unusual precision: the scripts, the misread rooms, the exhausting work of decoding people. The time loop turns into the real subject, which is a woman learning that the problem was never that she said the wrong thing.
