Shonda Rhimes

Shonda Rhimes is the American showrunner and producer behind some of television’s biggest dramas, Grey’s Anatomy, Scandal, and Bridgerton, and the founder of the production company Shondaland. The first Black woman to create and run three hit network dramas, she moved her empire to Netflix in a landmark deal. Her memoir, Year of Yes, grew out of a personal challenge to stop declining invitations and opportunities, and became a bestseller about confronting fear, saying yes, and reshaping a life.
