We believe the best recommendations come from people with real experience and proven judgment, not from bestseller lists or algorithms. Every page on this site is built to help you choose your next book with confidence.
How Every Page Gets Made
Researched from public sources. We collect recommendations from interviews, podcasts, social media, personal websites, public talks, and newsletters. Wherever possible, each recommendation links back to where it was made, so you can hear it in the person’s own words.
Verified before publication. Every book is identified by its ISBN, which keeps editions straight and duplicates out. Every attribution is checked against its source before it goes live.
Written, not copied. Every book description on this site is original. We don’t paste publisher blurbs, and we don’t let software publish anything a human hasn’t reviewed.
What We Value
Accuracy over volume. A small directory that’s right is worth more than a large one that’s wrong. We’d rather add ten verified recommendations than a hundred rumors.
Readers first. If you spot an error, a wrong attribution, or a recommendation we’ve missed, write to [email protected]. Corrections make the site better for everyone.
