The second Warrior Kid book finds Marc physically stronger and discovering that this solved less than he had hoped. He faces a bully, a hard decision about a friend, and the realisation that courage has to be chosen again and again rather than won once and kept. Uncle Jake returns, though Marc does far more of the work on his own this time.
