Anderson Cooper

Anderson Cooper is an American broadcast journalist, the anchor of Anderson Cooper 360° on CNN and for two decades a correspondent for 60 Minutes. After Yale he taught himself the trade by shooting footage in war zones, then built a career reporting from disasters and front lines around the world. His books divide between the personal, a memoir of the wars and losses he has covered and a book-length dialogue with his mother, Gloria Vanderbilt, and sweeping histories of great American families, including the Vanderbilts and Astors from whom he descends.
