Alcatraz vs. the Evil Librarians

The first Alcatraz book, and Sanderson at his most deliberately silly. On his thirteenth birthday Alcatraz Smedry receives a bag of sand and learns that the world’s libraries are a front for a cult of Evil Librarians who have been quietly editing reality. His family’s magical Talents are all uselessly specific; his is breaking things. Narrated by Alcatraz himself, who spends much of the book insisting he is not a hero and lying to you about the plot.
