Imran Khan is a Pakistani author and former international cricketer. He captained the Pakistan national cricket team that won the 1992 Cricket World Cup, and is regarded as one of the sport’s leading all-rounders. After retiring from cricket he founded the Shaukat Khanum Memorial Cancer Hospital and later entered public life, serving as Prime Minister of Pakistan. His books draw on his own life, on Pakistan’s history and society, and on the land and peoples of the country’s frontier regions.
