Sahih Muslim

Imam Muslim · 2000

One of the two most authoritative hadith collections in Sunni Islam.

Compiled in the ninth century by Imam Muslim ibn al-Hajjaj, Sahih Muslim is, alongside Sahih al-Bukhari, one of the two most authenticated collections of the Prophet Muhammad’s sayings and actions in Sunni Islam. Muslim applied rigorous standards to the chains of narration he accepted, and the collection is organised by topic across law, worship, and belief. It is part of the Kutub al-Sittah, the six canonical hadith books Zakir Naik recommends as the best sources of authentic narrations.
