Mila, Citlali and Dalia leave Mexico City for London and Paris as college-age friends, expecting cafés and crushes but not the signs that they are growing apart. Years later Mila, now a writer and new mother, learns that Citlali has drowned, and she looks back on their friendship and on the embroidery that bound them together. Two Lines Press published the English edition in November 2023.
