Bournville
Jonathan Coe's novel following one English family through seventy-five years, in the Europa Editions edition.
Mary is eleven when we meet her in Bournville, a village in the heart of England known for its chocolate, and the story follows her through children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. It moves from the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II and the 1966 World Cup final to Brexit and Covid-19, while parts of the chocolate factory become a theme park. Blondel had just finished it and liked how it depicts the post-Brexit United Kingdom.

I have just finished Bournville by Jonathan Coe, because I love the way he depicts the post-Brexit United Kingdom.
