The Beast
Anders Roslund and Börge Hellström's first novel together, in the Abacus paperback of Anna Paterson's English translation.
Odjuret appeared in Sweden in 2004, was published in English as Pen 33 and as The Beast, and was the debut of the writing duo Roslund & Hellström. It opens the Ewert Grens series. The novel won the Glass Key award in 2005 and the Guldpocket prize for the year’s most sold Swedish crime novel, and Daniel Alfredson directed a TV film of it in 2012.
