How to Be an Antiracist

Ibram X. Kendi’s 2019 book combines social commentary with memoir. He describes racism as a powerful system that creates false hierarchies of human value, and argues that its logic reaches beyond race to how people are treated for many other reasons. Drawing on his own life, he sets out what antiracism means and proposes both individual actions and systemic changes.
